Converting Online Shoppers Into Buyers

Nine out of 10 online shoppers have abandoned an online shopping cart without making a purchase, according to Forrester Research, a leading market-research firm specializing in technology.


Here are the reasons why:


·         Shipping & handling costs were too high (44%)


·         Not ready to purchase the product (41%)


·         Wanted to compare prices on other websites (27%)


·         Product price was higher than I was willing to pay (25%)


·         Just wanted to save products in my cart for later consideration (24%)


·         Shipping & handling costs were listed too late in the checkout process (22%)
